Dil Bole Hadipaa! Dimag Bole Uttapaa

Well, I liked the movie songs and Rani's screen presence. Never mind her english as Veera and short stature with husky voice in the beard clad Sardarji(whom we are yet to see as of now as a Sardar in real life!). Yash Raj movies are always about foot tapping beats, song & dance with the repeated and enforced reminder of Indian culture only bordered around Punjab! ( Will some one tell Chopra there are other states and cultures too...? )
Story line - borrowed from the West? Doesn't matter! We borrow sometimes and some times they do. What is original anyway? But it would have been better if we acknowledge the one who first creates it. Sorry, that was never the habit.
Cast - as usual it is about selling dreams and dreams are sold with smooth and presentable faces else it is nightmare. Ha..! Shahid delivers the eye-candy for teeny bloopers for both the sexes. Rani - at least she tried a hand at comedy single handedly like Sreedevi and Juhi Chawla. Dilip Tahil, Poonam Dhillon, Anupam Kher - props. Rakhi Sawant - better managed as oomph factor for a song and Veera's friend to cheer and be prodigal in desi-matka-jhatka style. Sherlyn Chopra - much awaited debut of "the most downloaded Internet Diva" was not so impressive with acting, dialogue or skin show, in fact I felt she had cold when she spoke. My vote goes for Mallika Sherawat on those parameters in that genre.
Technicalities(Sound, Camera etc.) - Good work.
Direction - Fine! Under Yash-Raj banner it seems apt as expected, only I missed foreign locales in volume.
Overall - time pass for people who have nothing to do and want nothing to think too! I guess I could have had a dash of uttapaa with some madrasi "thenga" chutney! :P
